Amantes de los sonidos sesentas apunten este recopilatorio que llegará a las tiendas tanto en cd como en doble vinilo durante el próximo mes de abril: Planet Mod – Brit Soul, R&B And Freakbeat From The Shel Talmy Vaults. Un total de 24 temas que tienen un nexo en común: Sheldon Shel Talmy, que trabajó con The Who, The Kinks o The Creation. 

En este disco compilatorio no hay nombres tan rimbombantes como los de The Who o The Kinds pero, sin embargo, no está exento de figuras. El álbum, que se pondrá en circulación a través del filial de Ace Records, Big Beat, incluye nombres tan interesantes como John Lee Hooker, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins o Ray Gates junto a otras formaciones R&B y soul como Soul Brothers, Groundhogs y The Untamed.

En el listado de canciones podéis comprobar que también hay algunas gemas, como primeras composiciones de David Bowie («Take My Tip» de Kenny Miller) o Bill Wyman («Goodbye Girl» de the Preachers). El tracklist definitivo de este álbum que se lanza el 27 de abril es el siguiente:
