Desde el norte de Italia, Scalpo presentan ‘Partita Con La Morte’, su primer LP tras el flexi 7″ de debut y el split 7″ con Iena. El nuevo álbum reúne doce temas directos, oscuros y cargados de mala leche, en la línea de su Oi! punk de corte áspero y sincero, con referencias claras a bandas italianas de otras épocas como Nabat, y versiones de Nerorgasmo y Bloody Riot.

Grabado entre mayo y julio de 2024 en LK Rehearsal Room (Morbegno) y Racün Studio (Delebio), el disco ha sido mezclado y masterizado por Lorenzo Piffer en Frizzer Studio (Parma) hasta noviembre del mismo año. El arte y el diseño corren a cargo de Clara C, con insert ilustrado por Andoni De La Cruz.

El vinilo se edita en Mendeku Diskak con una tirada de 380 copias en negro, 120 en amarillo (exclusivas para pedidos directos) y 10 copias de test pressing con etiquetas selladas y numeradas a mano, y carpeta alternativa.

Scalpo releases ‘Partita Con La Morte‘

Straight out of northern Italy, Scalpo present ‘Partita Con La Morte‘, their first full-length LP following their debut flexi 7″ and split 7″ with Iena. The new album delivers twelve raw, hard-hitting tracks dripping with menace, staying true to their gritty, no-frills Oi! punk sound. It channels the spirit of old-school Italian bands like Nabat, and includes covers of Nerorgasmo and Bloody Riot.

Recorded between May and July 2024 at LK Rehearsal Room (Morbegno) and Racün Studio (Delebio), the album was mixed and mastered by Lorenzo Piffer at Frizzer Studio (Parma) through November that year. Artwork and design are by Clara C, with an illustrated insert by Andoni De La Cruz.

The vinyl comes out via Mendeku Diskak in three variants: 380 copies on black, 120 on yellow (exclusive to direct orders) and 10 hand-numbered test pressings with sealed labels and an alternative sleeve.
